Haemorrhoids, often a taboo subject, are more common than one would think. HaemorrhoidsHaemorrhoids affect approximately 50% of the population and appear to be distributed evenly across both males and females.
Everyone has haemorrhoidal cushions. The haemorrhoidal cushions swell to ensure proper closure of the anus. These cushions, however, can cause a problem when they enlarge. This occurs when the blood vessels in the haemorrhoidal tissue swell due to excessive pressure exerted on weakened tissue. Haemorrhoids create a problem when the veins around the anus or lower rectum are swollen and inflamed. This may result from straining to move stool. Contributing factors include obesity, nutrition, chronic constipation, pregnancy and anal intercourse.
There are two common types of haemorrhoids, internal haemorrhoids, which are located inside the anus and external haemorrhoids those that protrude outside the anus. Internal haemorrhoids usually cause less pain and many people do not even know that they have them. External haemorrhoids cause more noticeable problems for sufferers.
Anal fissures are tears in the lining of the anal canal that are often mistaken with haemorrhoids because of the similarity of symptoms. One may experience pain, itching, burning, and blood in the stool. Fissures, as they are tears (not a case of unnatural swelling) will not protrude outside the anus.
Haemorrhoids are usually quite uncomfortable but are not dangerous or life threatening. Haemorrhoidial symptoms can disappear after a few days but eventually return, often worse. The infection of haemorrhoid, however, can cause serious complications.
What components does the applicator contain?
Place the aerosol can firmly on a sturdy surface. Hold the aerosol with one hand and remove the cap. Do not press the white button.
Firmly press down on the blue part (B) 2 seconds with the other hand. You hear a hissing sound. The white part (A) will automatically move upward. Keep on pressing the blue part (B) until you see a ring appear on the white part (A). At that moment you stop pressing. The applicator is fully charged and ready to use.
Pull the blue part (B) with the attached white part (A) out of the holder (part C).
Insert the blue part (B) with the attached white part (A) into the back passage.
After you inserted the blue part (B) into the back passage, gently press the white part (A) into the blue part (B), allowing for HemoClin to enter the affected area.
For treatment of anal discomforts (irritation, itching, burning, sensitivity):
Apply in and around the affected area using the gel at least twice per day or in ample quantity for a period of two weeks whenever relief is desired. More frequent application increases the effectiveness.
For prevention of (internal and external) haemorrhoids and fissures:
Apply in and around the anus before and after each bowel movement.
HemoClin should not be used for longer than 30 continuous days in one treatment period.
